Resident Advisors

Resident Advisors (RAs) are juniors and seniors appointed to be an academic, mental and social resource for residents living on their floors. The RAs are also responsible for putting together activities and programs that will encourage personal growth and development. The programming efforts are focused on the six following areas: physical, emotional, life-planning, intellectual, social, and cultural wellness.

WUSAs

Washington University Student Associates (WUSAs) are upperclass student leaders who assist students during their first-year transition to Washington University.  Their primary duties are to keep first-year students informed of academic deadlines, policies, and resources, and to help build community among freshman floors or transer/exchange groups.

Residential College Director

Residential College Directors (RCDs) are full-time student affairs professionals with significant experience in residential life and student development. RCDs manage the day-to-day operations of a residential college, supervise a staff of Resident Advisors, and are responsible for overseeing the maintenance of their facilities. RCDs assist students in the development of programs, advise the College Council, and handle student concerns and conduct.
