Ruby/Umrath/South 40 Traditions RUm-B-Que
RUm-B-Que is our annual bar-b-que held during Labor Day weekend on the Swamp. It's a chance for the whole Res. College to get together to celebrate getting through the first week of classes. Dinner and a Movie NightsOnce a month, our Res. College gets together for a themed Dinner and a Movie Night. There'll be lots of food, a fun movie, and good company. Past themes have included Kung Fu Panda and Chinese food, Meet me in St. Louis with foods found only in St. Louis, and Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle with White Castle burgers and fries of course. ScreW UR Roommate DanceThe annual Screw UR Roommate Dance is a long-standing tradition in Ruby/Umrath. Held around Valentine's day, the dance is a chance for residents of Ruby/Umrath/South 40 to set their roommate up with a date. The dance is held on campus and features, music, food, and of course, dancing. ScreW UR Roommate is planned and organized by College Council.
